A 14-YEAR-OLD girl   was strangled by her own father, aged 60, in their  home in Nuevo Tocumen, in the eastern sector of Panama City at midnight on Saturday, October 5

Neighbors heard screams inside the residence and called the National Police when police units arrived they found the girl unconscious in an armchair.

When the police units arrived, they found the unconscious adolescent in an armchair. They rushed her to a medical center but she was pronounced dead.

The father, after strangling his daughter, tried to take his own life with a knife He was taken to a hospital where he is recovering. Neighbors said there was previous domestic violence reports TVN.
