PASO CANOA, Chiriquí.  - The authorities of the province of Chiriquí are redoubling their efforts to maintain sanitary surveillance in the border areas of Paso Canoa and Renacimiento in the face of the increase in cases of coronavirus that are registered in Costa Rica reports La Prensa.

In addition to continuing to demand compliance with biosafety measures such as the use of a mask, physical distancing, and complying with the capacity allowed in shops, negative tests of Covid-19 will also be requested from travelers entering the country.

This Tuesday, April 27, a meeting was held between the authorities of the Ministry of Health, security forces, and merchants to try to prevent the spread of the virus.
