Soaring covid-19 cases cancels Christmas parades in two cities

FACED  with the most recent epidemiological report from the Ministry of Health(Minsa) for the week of Sunday, November 27 to Saturday, December 3 –  confirming 7,091 new cases of covid-19 and pushing the accumulated cases past the 1.1 million mark and deaths to 8,538. The Minsa has reiterated that Panama is facing a sixth wave of covid-19 but the $3 million parade on the capital‘s Cinta Costera will continue as scheduled on Sunday, December 11.
