The social scene with Zuleira

TICKETS  for the 12^th Night Revel in the ballroom of the Magnolia Inn in Casco Viejo are now on sale and the number is strictly limited so it’s first come, first served.

Twelfth night January 6) is of course the last day of Christmas, so it could be your chance to hand out all those cards you forgot to send, or to ask forgiveness and pass along some of the free flowing wine, that will be on tap from 7-11 pm. Backed by ample supplies of multiple choice finger food, music and good company, it’s a bargain price event ($20) to end Christmas and get the New Year on its way.

It will also be the opportunity to ask hostess Cherie Flagg to show you around the Inn, whose prices will surely attract visiting friends and relatives. My boss has already booked space for some visitors from Australia.

It’s all being organized  by the CanadaPLUS Club which was launched on Jan 6 2010, and has staged 12 outstanding  events for its 250 members, including introducing a group discount health insurance, and the staggeringly successful Carols by Candlelight in Plaza Francia on December 3.

This party promises to follow in the footsteps of the others, and the price is right.
