More rain forecast for flood isolated communities

Heavy overnight rains on Monday, September 3, caused the Cascajal River, in Nuevo Tonosí, Portobelo, to overflow its banks isolating, the populations of Portobelo and Santa Isabel Amaneciera on the Costa Arriba of Colon. The civil assistance body, Sinaproc had issued an alert and was on standby to provide assistance, but warned of continuing storms in many parts of the country through Tuesday
