Four people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on the Bridge of the Americas on Monday afternoon leading to a massive traffic jam in both directions.

One of the vehicles overturned and the causes of the accident are not known.

Personnel of the fire station in Howard joined units of the National Aeronaval Service (Senan) and the Unified System of Medical Care (Sume 911) at the scene.

According to Google Maps, getting to the bridge  from anywhere in the city could take drivers 45 minutes or more
