A  38-yeqr-old woman returning home from work was killed and two people were badly injured at 10 pm on  Thursday, September 5 when her sedan was involved in a head-on collision with a double-cabin pickup in heavy rain in front of the Rommel Fernández stadium in Panama City. Police said speed was a contributing factor.

Her death brings the total killed on Panama highways so far this year to 189.
