Countrywide green alert follows hurricane center report

The Emergency Operations Center of the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc)  has declared a green alert for the whole country   through Thursday October 5 - due to the possible formation of a low-pressure system on the border between Chiriquí and Costa Rica, according to a report from  the Hydrometeorology  center of ETESA and the United States National Hurricane Center.
