After a two-hour meeting with President Cortizo on Thursday, the leadership of the Coalition for the Unity of Colón (CUCO) did not sign a document to end the general strike in the province.

The group demands that projects be carried out to prioritize jobs. Edgardo Voitier, leader of Cuco, explained that the end of the strike could not be signed because they must take the proposals to a general assembly.
