Manuel Camilo Rentería Lemus, alleged leader of the criminal organization Clan del Golfo, one of Colombia’s most powerful criminal organizations in provisional detention in Panama awaiting a decision whether to extradite him to the US or Colombia.

Prosecutor Dayana Estrada confirmed that the detained subject is wanted d by the United States for his alleged involvement with an international criminal organization.

He was apprehended in Chepo. east of Panama City on Wednesday, February 19, by Panama security personnel.
