A prevention alert for rip currents, winds, and waves in the Panamanian Caribbean, until  Tuesday, January 24 was issued by the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) on Friday.

The maritime zones of the prevention notice are:

Eastern Caribbean: Guna Yala, Costa Arriba-Colón region.

Central Caribbean: Costa Abajo-Colón, Veraguas (north).

Western Caribbean: Bocas del Toro-Ngäbe Buglé region.

Similarly, for this Friday, they forecast cloudy incursions from the Caribbean Sea to the provinces and regions of that sector of the country with isolated rains in Bocas del Toro and Colón.

Over the Pacific, dry weather and high solar radiation are forecast.
