After a police pursuit that began in the Pacora sector east of Panama City, the National Police captured a man who was transporting a large amount of cash and several packages that are presumed to be illegal substances. In addition, two firearms were seized in the vicinity of the Tocumen International Airport.

Deputy Commissioner Jorge Bryant, Chief of the Don Bosco Police Zone, said that at the time of the pursuit, the car in which the suspect was traveling invaded the opposite lane and ended up colliding with another vehicle, a moment that was used by the other companions to escape among the grasslands.

He said that, at this time, they are maintaining strong operations to find the capture of these subjects who are possibly linked to drug trafficking crimes.
