461 illegal foreigners detained

464 foreigners of different nationalities were detained in the first  10 months of the year, says the National Immigration Service. The arrests occurred during cross-country operations carried with 3 276 foreigners being investigated for violating the Immigration Law. Colombian citizens headed the list of detainees (177), followed by Venezuela (167), Dominicans (46) and Nicaraguans (36), Other countries accounted for 38. Women made up 63% of those arrested.
