High tide alert for Pacific coast

The National Civil Protection Service (Sinaproc) has reported that maximum tides that will reach about 17.5 feet high (5.3) meters, from 3:34 am on Monday, February 20, 2023 until 7:10 pm, on Friday, February 24, 2023. The National Emergency Operations Center warns that, if the maximum tide coincides with the rains, they could; increase the levels of rivers and streams. Prevention measures suggested by Sinaproc: Avoid carrying out activities on the Pacific coast. Artisanal fishermen are recommended to use navigation equipment, life jackets or other personal flotation devices.
