Jorge Rubén Camargo Clarke, alias Cholo Chorrillo, one of the alleged leaders of the Bagdad gang, was captured on, February 11, in Costa Rica.

Cholo Chorrillo wanted for drug trafficking and money laundering, among others was with his wife at the time of his arrest.

Carlos Valencia, from the Judicial Investigation Directorate, said that he will be taken to a hearing in San José for his extradition.

Initially, he identified himself by the name of Leonel Armando.

As reported by La Nación de Costa Rica, the capture took place in front of the sports plaza of San Isidro de Grecia, Alajuela. It was a joint operation of the Intelligence and Security Directorate, the Judicial Investigation Agency, and the Special Intervention Unit, which belongs to the Presidency.

Since last year there were reports that Cholo Chorrillo had left Panama, where a reward of $50,000 was offered to anyone who gave information on his whereabouts.

The Drug Prosecutor's Office attributes the movement of drugs from Colombia along the Pacific coast to the Bagdad gang.
