The National Police foiled a kidnap, attempt of a brother of President Nito Cortizo on Thursday afternoon and arrested four men and a woman in the Peñas Blanca sector in La Mitra in La Chorrera according to the Office of the Prosecutor Against Organized Crime They are four Panamanians and one Venezuelan. Authorities also seized a gray sedan vehicle.

Earlier it was reported that Moisés Cortizo, a former military man went to the  sector to negotiate the alleged purchase of a farm. When he arrived the kidnap attempt began according to police sources reports Mi Diario.
