FAMED The famous American actor  Harrison Ford, the unstoppable “Indiana Jones”  on Tuesday, February   12 attacked US President Donald Trump and other leaders who deny climate change, as being "on the wrong side of history."

participating in Dubai in a global forum on governance, Ford - who played Han Solo in the Star Wars series - said that it is "the greatest moral crisis" of today.

"All over the world, including in my own country, leaders deny or denigrate science to maintain their part of the 'status quo' They are on the wrong side of history," he said.

"We are facing what I believe to be the greatest moral crisis of our time, and those who have less responsibility for the destruction of nature are those who will pay the greatest consequences," he said.

In an energetic speech, the 76-year-old veteran actor said that "if we are going to survive on this planet, the only home we will have, for our safety, for our future, and for our climate, we need nature more than ever."

For Ford, "nature does not need people, people need nature."
