Roxanne Cabral, who was Head of Mission of the United States Embassy in Panama since the Ambassador resigned over conflict with President Trump policies has been named US  ambassador to the Marshall Islands.

Cabral arrived in Panama in August 2017 and  became head of mission in March 2018
