CRITICS   who believe President Juan Carlos Varela’s call for a deputy minister to make her well paid job “available,” was just  a ploy to shut down media comment, will take heart from the news that  Angelica Maytín, director of the Transparency and Access to Information  Authority (Antai,) has filed a complaint with the public prosecutor in the case of the bodyguards who reported that Zulema  Sucre, asked them to perform functions unrelated to their job, including walking  her “VIP”  dog who answers to the name of Gucci.

Varela , before accepting her resignation, wants time to  for “research” to be done.  It’s unlikely he was thinking of The Public Ministry.
