TWELVE CAGED tigers in La Estrella de -ugaba, Chiriqui are not a danger to the community, says the National Environmental Authority (ANAM).

The agency’s office of Biodiversity and Wildlife carried out an inspection after neighbors had complained that they were afraid of the 12 tigers from the Mexican Suarez Brothers circus.
Anam’s Zuleima Guillen, found that the circus had gone to Costa Rica, but could not take the cats, 9 adults and 3 Bengal and Siberian cubs, because they did not have the documentation to transport them However, he said they are cared for and fed by a tamer, and are not a public danger. The circus will return to Panama in three months.
