Alert for heavy rains and storms until Saturday in Panama.  The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) has issued a warning about heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms and winds, happening from May 7 to May 11. The areas under surveillance include Chiriquí (coasts), Bocas del Toro (coasts), the Ngäbe Buglé region, Veraguas Sur, Colón, Panamá, Panamá Oeste (coasts), the Guna Yala region, Darién and its regions, as well as the maritime sectors of the country.
