UNITED Airlines received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Sustainability sector as a provider of travel and the GBTA Foundation ICARUS project this week.

The Foundation recognizes United for its leadership, innovation and exceptional commitment to undertake programs :: products and services of the industry leaders in sustainability . says a press release,

“This is a great honor for United and reflects the growing importance of sustainability for our corporate customers," said Angela Foster -Rice, Director of Environmental Affairs and Sustainability at United. "As part of our commitment to Eco- Skies, continue taking steps to reduce our impact on the environment by promoting the use of biofuels, the introduction of more sustainable products, and collaboration with our customers and partners in order to promote sustainability" .
United flies from Panama twice a week to Newark Airport in New York and Houston , Texas
