Zero hour has come for the second puncture [wiretap]trial. It is supposed to start today, but with the star defendant, anything can happen, since if his lawyers do something right, it is to try to delay the holding of the hearing with legal resources.

 Curiously, those whom the accused pointed out as those responsible for being prosecuted, are no longer on stage, so he has sought new protagonists to replace them in his absurd fantasies, which he later disseminates on his social media and media accounts.  The truth is that, having the means to clarify his entire situation, what he wants is to prevent the trial from being carried out at any cost.

He has a whole team of lawyers doing their best to block a trial in which he could clear his name, especially, because he wants Panamanians to give him a vote of confidence again to lead the country from the Presidency of the Republic.

But, under the current circumstances, it is not enough for him to claim his innocence. The trial should clear all doubts about his alleged participation in the spying of the private communications of dozens of Panamanians and foreigners. Otherwise, the doubts will simply persist. LA PRENSA, Jun. 22
