An American  citizen died while partying on a vessel    at Punta Caracol on Isla Colon,  Bocas del Toro

The National  Civil Protection  System(Sinaproc) reported the incident, which occurred at about 6:40 pm on the catamaran- Jade Dragon operated by Gilberto Pineda. 

Pineda told the authorities that  Erick Tadeus Horabik, 20, was dancing and then decided to jump into the sea, but was hit by a propeller of the catamaran. 

He was transferred to the port, and by ambulance to the hospital,. But he arrived "without vital signs,"  said Dr. Marla Estewart

The Public Ministry and the National Police are investgating.
