In a search operation, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office apprehended on Tuesday, May 23, in San Miguelito,  two former senior officials of the Río Abajo agency of the National Charity Lottery, linked to an investigation into the alleged robbery of $95 thousand from the vault.

The raids were carried out simultaneously in the township of Belisario Frías, jointly between the Public Ministry and the National Police, because the former officials are required for the crime against the Public Administration, in the modality of Different Forms of Embezzlement.

According to the investigation, the relationship of both former officials in this event was determined, locating them and placing them under the orders of the anti-corruption judicial authorities.
