Heavy rain on Thursday, November 28 affected flights at Tocumen International Airport, flooded streets and homes in Panama City and brought down trees.

"So far, about 26 aircraft have been diverted to the airports of Panama Pacifico, Río Hato and Cartagena," said Tocumen, SA in mid-afternoon.

The affected flights were  from Copa, American Airlines and Avianca
