Surviving children burned in Curundu fire will be treated in the US

The brothers, aged six and one, who survived the fire in Curundú hostel were transferred on Thursday, January 19, to a hospital in Galveston, United States.

The process was made possible through the Abou Saad Shriners Foundation.

Their seven-year-old brother who also had serious burns died at the Children's Hospital on Tuesday.

Although the flight was delayed, an ambulance plane that will take them to the United States was expected to land at Thursday at the presidential hangar.

They traveled with their mother, for whom it was reported that the visa process was carried out to guarantee entry to the United States.

The foundation reported that once they arrive in Galveston, Texas, they will be cared for by specialized personnel who will offer them state -of-the-art treatments.
