A  68- year-old man facing charges  of sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl in Veraguas  has been moved from preventive detention to house arrest by order of an appeals  court judge  because he has hearing and visual problems

The accused was also prohibited from approaching the victim. He was arrested in Mariato on February 21 and had been held in the Santiago jail.
