Heavy rains and gusts of winds that fell on Friday morning, July 26 in various sectors in Panama City and  Colon province,  caused the shut down of some sections of Metro Line 2, lifted roofs, brought down trees and flooded some areas.

The Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) reported that personnel are working on the cutting and removal of trees that fell on homes and roads. In Colón damage occurred in the communities of Cativá and Buena Vista; while in Panama, trees fell in Chilibre, Villa Grecia, Don Bosco, Gonzalillo and Juan Díaz.
