Police destroy 20,331 seized firearms

The destruction by the National Police on April 29 of 1,012 firearms seized in security operations brings the total destroyed in 20 programs to 20,331. The latest batch included 752  revolvers, 175 pistols, 20 rifles, 34 shotguns, six submachine guns, 950 small arms, 45 long arms, and 17 high-impact weapons, which were in the hands of criminal organizations.
