Deaths from Traffic accidents this year climbed to 2018 on Wednesday, August 15 when a man was killed attempting to cross the highway after midnight under a pedestrian bridge at Tocumen Plaza in Juan Diaz.

Twenty-eight hours earlier another man was killed near an overhead crossing on the Arriajan-Chorrera highway.

The two deaths bring the total this year to 2018. A reduction of 50 compared to the same time period last year.
