Panama highway deathtoll reaches 286

A man who tried to cross a poorly lit section of the Panama-Colón highway, in  Guna Nega, was killed late on Thursday, Oct 4, bringing the traffic death toll this year to  286. Local residents report that there have been several previous deaths on the highway where there are no lights and no pedestrian bridge.
