Free rides on Panamas first electric bus

A pilot operation of Panama’s first electric bus system began on Monday, August 6. The route will be from El Marañon to Casco Viejo and will be managed by the Mi Bus Company and for the first six months rides will be free says the Mayor’s office. The project is carried out with the support of the BYD company that provided the 45-passenger bus.
