Former president Ernesto Pérez Balladares is under house arrest following an order issued by the special prosecutor for organized crime.

The former President went with his wife Dora Boyd de Perez Balladares and his lawyers. to the Prosecutor's office to answer questions at 8.a.m. on Thursday.

Organized crime prosecutor Joseph Ayú Prado, issued the order.
