Flood victims demand City Hall action

Residents of the Plaza Valencia development descended on  Panama’s Municipal Council on Tuesday, December 11,  demanding action following the flooding of  22 homes, ten days before. Neither the authorities nor the real estate agency has responded to the residents who have been forced to vacate their homes reports Metro TV. So far, two houses have had to be torn down and others are likely to follow suit. The residents are awaiting a report from the of Civil Protection System  (Sinaproc), crucial for their insurance claims.
