First 2019 road death with 10 injured
The first fatal traffic accident of the new year came on Tuesday, January 1 when a pickup collided with a power line in the village of Aserrío de Gariché district of Bugaba, in Chiriquí province. A man in his 40s was killed and 10 people, nine adults and one minor, were injured and transferred to medical centers say provincial police authorities. They are investigating if speed was a factor in the accident.
