Commission to investigate Ombudsman harassment claims

Independent Deputy Ana Matilde Gomez will preside over a National Assembly commission established to collect information and investigate allegations of cases of alleged harassment in the Ombudsman's Office.

In a press release, the legislature said the commission will verify the veracity of the allegations that have been made in different means of communication of alleged irregular situations under the administration of the current Ombudsman,  Alfredo Castillero Hoyos.
