COLOMBIA Prosecutor's  have  begun an investigation into companies owned by the Waked family that were allegedly used to launder money.

Colombian media,  report that the investigation will focus on the retailer La Riviera.

A total of 68 companies owned by the Waked family have been included in the Clinton list for being linked to drug trafficking and money laundering.

Nidal Waked was arrested on May 4 in Bogota, Colombia.
