PRESIDENT Ricardo Martinelli returned to his theme of “They thought I was loco” for promising a Metro subway and Phase III of the Cinta Costera “but I did it” on  Wednesday. April 9 at the inauguration of the new highway.

Cinta Coster III snakes around Casco Viejo and was strongly opposed by many local residents.

During his speech, the president said that this new section will benefit Chorrilleros and the inhabitants of San Felipe.
"It will create jobs for Chorrilleros and residents of San Felipe," he said.
