THE BODY of a 34-years -old man who fell into the sea from the Cinta Costera 3 causeway in the early hours  of Sunday, October 21  was recovered on Monday morning after a  search lasting over 24  hours by members of the National Aeronaval Service (Senan) and the Civil Protection Service (Sinaproc).

Eder Vallejo, a native of  Chiriqui who worked in a San Miguelito distribution company was partying with friends aboard one of the “chiva” buses that tour the city late at night playing loud music and providing passengers with an open bar.

The bus stopped on the causeway around 2 a.m. because of an accident ahead, and Vallejo took advantage of the stop to urinate. In what was described by witnesses as a “confusing incident”   he fell into the sea.
