A bill to integrate all emergency calls across Panama  under a single number (911) has been presented to the National Assembly

Those who make false and malicious calls to the system  , could lose their telephone line and be penalized says the bill 

 promoted by the Ministry of Public Security headed by Rolando Mirones. The minister presented the bill before the plenary session of the  Assembly on Wednesday, August 28.

The document also says that the National Emergency System 911 will be able to identify the number from which the request is made, as well as its geographical location.
