Heavy rain with moderate winds and electrical activity on Monday afternoon, June 24 turned many Panama streets into rivers. With drivers advised to keep their lights on because of poor visibility

The worst-hit areas were  San Francisco, Bella Vista, Parque Lefevre, Curundú, Aquilino de la Guardia, Cinquentenario, Panama Viejo, and  Juan Díaz

The National Civil Protection System  (Sinaproc) issued an alert for the provinces of Colon, Panama, Cocle, Panama West and Guna Yala.
