The National Police, through the National Central Office of Interpol Panama, arrested a British citizen wanted for trafficking crimes of significant quantities of drugs.  The arrest occurred at the Tocumen International Airport after a transit flight from Belize City to the final destination of Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The 44-year-old man had a notice of arrest for extradition purposes issued by the German authorities and was transferred by Interpol agents and the National Directorate of Judicial Investigation (DNIJ) for the corresponding procedures, at the orders of the International Affairs authorities.
