High winds lifted roofs, brought down trees and power cables across the country keeping firemen and emergency services busy on Friday Match 7.

In  Colón, City, in the sector of calles 5-6, a giant tree fell bringing out emergency services

and on Calle 40 Bella Vista. In Panama City poles and power lines were brought down by falling trees. leading to disabled signal lights and creating traffic jams.

In Chiriquí, a 30-year-old woman narrowly escaped injury when a huge tree fell on the back of the truck, she was driving through El Hazigro neighborhood in  David.

Sinaproc and the Fire Department reported,  strong winds in the Highlands and Lowlands of Chiriquí, which have brought down trees and lifted roofs in David, Alanje, Dolega, and Bugaba.
