With four weekly flights: two from Montreal and two from Toronto, the Canadian airline Air Transat will carry out regular flights from Canada to The Pacific Riviera.

Flights will land at the Scarlett Martínez Airport in Río Hato, province of Coclé, starting on November 1.

Air Transat is Canada's leading vacation airline, flying to over 60 international destinations in more than 25 countries in the Americas and Europe, carrying some 5 million passengers each year.

The administrator of the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), Iván Eskildsen, pointed out that the frequency of international flights from Canada will generate a significant economic impact on the Pacific Riviera, one of the priority destinations of the Sustainable Tourism Master Plan (PMTS 2020-2025).

The Pacific Riviera is the coastal area from Punta Chame, in West Panama, to Farallón, in Río Hato, with a high demand for sun and beach experiences, nautical (marine) tourism activities, and active tourism or contact with nature.
