Starting Monday, May 17, face shields will be mandatory on public transport as  Metro buses increase the maximum passenger occupancy to 80% of the design capacity. That is, 64 users on both buses, MiBus said.

The company explained that, in the orange buses, 35 people will be able to travel seated and 29 standing; while in the blue buses there may be 45 people seated and 19 standing.

MiBus reiterated the call for users to use alcohol or alcohol gel before, during and after using the transport services and, if you are standing, go back-to-back as much as possible.

The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, said that the transport unit must have signs that inform the user that it is forbidden to talk, inside the bus and that the cell phone cannot be used to speak.
