Extreme UV alert for revelers

As Panama  Carnival festivities move to their final two days the  National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) has issued a warning of extreme ultraviolet radiation indices.  The entity recommends using sunscreen, a hat with a wide brim, sunglasses, regular hydration and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun. 

The warning extends through Tuesday, March 4.
