Construction is recovering slowly with investment declared in the first nine months of this year 39.2% lower than that reported during 2019. The approval of construction permits is hampered by the paralysis that the sector experienced during the past year and at the beginning of 2021.

The cost of constructions, additions, and private repairs approved in the main municipalities of the country totaled $537.9 million between January and September of this year.
