Panama’s agricultural producers will be able to move their products to collection centers, and supply markets such as Merca Panamá and public markets in the provinces, slaughterhouses and agribusiness chains on Sundays when there is a total freeze of citizen movement.

The announcement comes from  the  Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA), which will issue safe conduct passes

According to the institution, once they comply with the delivery of food in the different areas of the country, producers and transporters will be able to return to their homes without any problem

From Sunday,  March 5 traffic is prohibited throughout the country, except for those like health and essential service workers who carry endorsements from their companies or entities.
