Belisario Ernesto Bonini Jimenez (Commissioner of the National Aeronaval Service), has lost his appeal against a six-year jail sentence for gender violence.

The event occurred on June 8, 2019,  when Bonini physically and verbally assaulted the victim with profanity, degrading insults, hitting her in the face while traveling in the vehicle driven by the defendant in the area of Albrook Mall where he was arrested.

In addition, he issued death threats, mistreatment, and humiliation during the 3-year period of

the couple’s relationship, which caused her psychological problems.
